On August 4, the Smolny Forum launched the Forum of War Veterans and Disabled Persons, participants and disabled combat operations, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the complete liberation of Leningrad from the fascist blockade and the 25th anniversary of the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan.
Guests of the forum - participants of the marathon “Strong spirit”, organized by the All-Russian public organization of war invalids in Afghanistan and military trauma " War Invalids ". According to the plan of events held in the framework of the socio-patriotic marathon "STRONG SPIRIT - 2014", a visit to the Piskarevsky memorial cemetery, as well as a ceremony of laying wreaths and flowers to the memorial, then - a visit to the Monument to the heroic defenders of Leningrad on Victory Square.
